“I saw fireworks only on TV before, but tonight I set them off myself.
They are as beautiful as shining stars!”

– LI RONG

It’s not everyday I get to photograph fireworks, so I decided to take advantage of the 3rd of July celebration at Liberty Bay. The fireworks were okay, but the atmosphere sucked. I knew it was going to be crowded at the waterfront, but I was just not ready for my “I hate people” mood. People were constantly walking in front of my camera and several times my tripod was kicked, nearly knocking the entire thing over. Does nobody watch where they walk anymore? My DSLR isn’t invisible y’know. Oh and the best part was the creepy molester man that snuck up behind me without me knowing it. So picture this, there’s my camera + tripod, me, a man squeezed behind me, and the pavillion. WTF psycho, get the hell out! He tried talking to me but when I ignored him he finally left. It really skeeved me out. I’m sticking to my usual routine of PO fireworks from now on. I’m hoping my pictures tomorrow will turn out better than the ones I took today.
